This year, 2010, we plan to go to a Beaver (our motor home make) rally in Albuquerque in March. From there, we will go to Las Cruces and spend a couple of days bopping around Mesilla and Old Town. From there we want to go to Green Valley, AZ and visit some old motor home friends for a day or two.
Then, we plan to go on to Tucson for a couple of days and visit some friends who also own a lot at Pacific Shores in Newport, OR.
In late April, we will go to Palm Desert for our two weeks of time share at the Marriotts there. That is always a good time, we invite Sharon's Mom to go, and she enjoys it also. She cooks! Chuckle! Since we have the trike, I drive that down, and Sharon takes the car and picks up her Mom, so we have both of those vehicles there.
After Palm Desert, we immediately begin our packing, etc., for the departure to Oregon. This year we will again invite Helen to go along, we will spend some time in the Fresno ar-ea visiting Helen's grandchildren, then on to Sacramento area where Jerry's kids and grandchildren are. We hope to spend a week in that area visiting all those folk.
Jerry also has a friend who will be having a 80th birthday party around that time, so we will go to that!
Then, on to Oregon, hoping to visit Jerry's Sister and Brother-in-law in Grants Pass.
Then, to the motor coach lot in Newport for the summer!
Also, new to Sharon this year, we will go to Rapid City to take part in the biennial reunion of Jerry's Air Force outfit! A bunch of old guys with old war stories about working on and with RB-36's! Ellsworth AFB, 1954-1956.
Should be good fun, and a new experience for Sharon!
Then, back home, hopefully slowly!
